The Clean Theory Soap Co. was born from a very personal place. After a cancer diagnosis left me unable to use anything but water on my skin, I created The Pure One — a soap so clean, so gentle, it became the foundation of everything we make. Every product is handcrafted in small batches, cruelty-free, and made with your skin and wellbeing at heart.
Curing is the quiet, essential stage after a bar is made, when excess water gently evaporates and the soap’s structure continues to develop. For natural handmade soap, this patience matters: unlike soap made from a pre-made base or factory-produced bars, each bar is given time to mature without harsh synthetic hardeners.
Our soaps typically cure for 4–6 weeks. The result is a harder, longer-lasting bar with a milder, more nourishing lather — a considered daily ritual that feels as good as it is gentle on the skin.
We keep our packaging choices simple and honest. Our containers, including jars for whipped soaps, are made from PET plastic — transparent, practical and recyclable.
Our shrink wraps and tamper bands are made from POF, a recyclable and compostable material. Every choice is made with care, and we’re committed to responsible packaging that protects your soap while treading more lightly on the planet.
Meet Black Rose, our Soap of the Month. This Strong Rose scented soap is a multifunctional bar. Shea butter to moisturise, premium Coconut Oil to cleanse and the Activated Charcoal that gives it its Jet Black colour really pulls out the daily nasties from your skin.
